All about Jada's first trip to Disney
Walt Disney World's Epcot is basically two parks in one. Future World, and the World Showcase.
The Park started as an idea from Walt Disney himself to design a Utopian city of the future. Epcot is an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. Disney was planning to build an actual city using new ideas and developing technology. Unfortunatlely, Disney died before realizing his plans of building his own city.
After his death, building the theme park continued. The designers could not decide whether to make it a futuristic park, or a world showcase so they did both. Epcot first opened on October 1st, 1982.

The World Showcase of Epcot is your very own world tour in one day. The area surrounds the World Showcase lagoon, a man made lake that is 1.2 miles around. There are pavillions representing 11 different countries ( there were originally only 9, with Norway and Morocco being added later).
Kidcot Fun Stops are colorful craft stations for preschoolers located in World Showcase at Epcot theme park. Delight in your children's broad smiles and wide eyes as they "travel the world" discovering these activity-filled craft areas at which to draw, write, stamp and create.
At many pavilions, your little ones can meet Cast Members from around the world and learn about their native countries. They'll also make their personal visions come to life in the form of vibrant masks, colored and cut to personal perfection. They can also get a passport stamp and autographs from the characters in each area. Click on the mouse head flags below to find the kidcot station and other info about each pavillion.
